Hunterdon County Legal Community Recognizes 2026 Professional Excellence Award Recipients

The Hunterdon County Bar Association has announced its 2026 honorees, recognizing individuals whose work reflects professionalism, integrity, and longstanding service within the legal community.

Hunterdon County Prosecutor Renée M. Robeson has been selected as the 2026 Professional Lawyer of the Year, an award that highlights exemplary conduct, character, and dedication to the fair administration of justice. The recognition reflects her ongoing commitment to both the legal profession and the residents of Hunterdon County.

The Bar Association also honored two additional members of the legal community:

• Hon. Stephen B. Rubin, J.S.C. (ret.), former Hunterdon County Prosecutor, recipient of the 2026 Lifetime Achievement Award
• John Thatcher, Esq., Tune Law Group, recipient of the 2026 Trailblazer Award

These distinctions acknowledge years of service, leadership, and contributions to the legal field at the county level.
