4‑H Medieval Jubilee Returns — Now Featuring a Fairy House Contest

Bridgewater is gearing up for a magical day of medieval fun as the Somerset County 4‑H Medieval Jubilee returns on Sunday, October 25, from 10 AM to 5 PM at the Ted Blum 4‑H Center, 310 Milltown Road. Families can expect a lively blend of old‑world charm and hands‑on activities, from interactive entertainment and demonstrations to workshops, an archery tournament, and a bustling artisan marketplace.

This year introduces a whimsical new addition: a Fairy House Contest. Creative community members are invited to craft cozy fairy dwellings using natural or upcycled materials and drop them off on Saturday, October 24, between 1–4 PM. All entries will be showcased during the Jubilee.

Several 4‑H clubs will be participating, and the Society for Creative Anachronism will once again bring authentic medieval flair to the festivities. The event is rain or shine, ensuring a jolly good time for all.

Admission is $10, with children 5 and under free. Proceeds support the Somerset County 4‑H Association and its youth development programs.
