Somerset County Transportation CAT Services Modified

SOMERVILLE, NJ – Due to the closure of Mountain Avenue in Bound Brook for utility construction, the Somerset County Transportation Division will re-route the CAT 2R onto Greenbrook Road instead of Mountain Avenue until further notice. Pick-ups will continue on the intersection of Union Ave and Mountain Ave.

The utility construction is expected to continue at least until April 28, 2023.

Provides para-transit services to senior citizens (age 60+) and persons with disabilities (age 18+) for medical, employment, workshops, senior centers, and other destinations as predetermined. The division also provides community transportation to the general public along fixed routes as indicated on the pre-printed time schedules.
