Immaculata High School to Dedicate World Trade Center Steel Memorial Honoring Alumnus Firefighter John M. Collins ’76

Somerville, N.J. — Immaculata High School will host a memorial ceremony honoring FDNY Ladder Co. 25 firefighter John M. Collins ’76, who lost his life responding to the September 11, 2001 terrorist attacks. The school will dedicate a piece of World Trade Center steel as a permanent memorial to Collins and all those who perished that day, recognizing his legacy of courage, service, and Spartan Spirit.

Immaculata High School, the Collins family, members of FDNY Ladder Co. 25, Port Authority representatives, an Honor Guard, and a Pipes & Drums unit.

WHAT:
A memorial ceremony featuring the presentation of colors, remarks from the Collins family and FDNY Ladder Co. 25, and the formal dedication of a World Trade Center steel memorial to be installed on campus.
