SOMERSET COUNTY, NJ — BW NICE Somerset County has announced April Ludwig, owner of April Ludwig Photography LLC, as its new Chapter President. After serving as Vice President for the past year and a half, April steps into the role with deep experience, strong leadership, and a passion for empowering women in business.
April is a multi‑award‑winning portrait photographer based in Bound Brook, specializing in maternity, newborn, family, children’s portraits, and professional headshots.
Her work has earned recognition from BestofNJ.com, Bridgewater Lifestyle Magazine, Best of Central NJ, the ICON International Photography Awards, and Portrait Masters.
Beyond her studio, April is a dedicated community volunteer — supporting Jack’s Kids, donating services to the Somerset County Food Bank Gala, and providing complimentary newborn sessions for families served by The Center for Great Expectations. She is also an Ambassador for the Somerset County Business Partnership, a Bound Brook PTO board member, and a volunteer tee‑ball coach.
As a survivor of childhood domestic violence, neglect, and abuse, April brings profound compassion and purpose to her new leadership role. She is committed to raising awareness, advocating for survivors, and fostering meaningful business connections that uplift women throughout Somerset County.
