Bridgewater-Raritan High School sophomore Ella Giacomazza is making waves on the national stage. She is currently competing in the Youth Athlete of the Year contest, a nationwide competition that celebrates young athletes between the ages of 7 and 17.

The winner will receive $25,000 and a feature in Sports Illustrated through Colossal/3BRAND — a remarkable opportunity that highlights both athletic achievement and character.

Ella has already advanced to the quarterfinals, a major accomplishment in itself. Now, the community has a chance to rally behind her. Voting is open to the public, and free daily votes can be cast online. Supporters are also encouraged to donate, with proceeds benefiting two important organizations: The V Foundation for Cancer Research and the Why Not You Foundation.

Her journey not only shines a light on her dedication as a student-athlete but also amplifies causes that make a difference far beyond the playing field.
