The annual Best of Intima Awards recognize excellence within the North American lingerie industry, highlighting retailers who exemplify outstanding business practices, innovation, and customer dedication.
The Best Community Support category honors stores that go above and beyond to give back to their local communities, champion philanthropic initiatives, and build meaningful connections with customers and neighbors alike.

Since opening its first store in 1988 in Peddler’s Village, Bucks County, Lace Silhouettes has grown to 20 stores across the East Coast. Throughout its history, the company has remained committed to community engagement, from supporting over 30 local nonprofits and women’s health initiatives annually, to creating in-store events that bring people together in meaningful ways.

Karen Thompson opened her first store—Lace Silhouettes Lingerie—in 1988 in Bucks County, Pennsylvania. From the start, she envisioned creating a shopping experience unlike any other, where each customer would feel like “a guest in our home.” Today, she has grown to encompass 20 brick-and-mortar stores, collectively known as LSL Brands, across Pennsylvania, New Jersey, Delaware, and Maryland.
