Hillsborough Health Department Announces Well Water Testing Event
The Hillsborough Health Dept, along with the Raritan Headwaters, is sponsoring a well water testing event for any township resident who wants to test their potable well water.
“Interested residents can purchase water test kits at a reduced price,” announced Mayor John Ciccarelli at the September 9th Township Committee meeting.
The event will be held in the rear parking lot of the municipal building on October 4th from 9:00 am until noon.
Health Department representatives will be at the event to answer any questions residents have regarding their well water. Residents must return water samples to the same location on October 6th, between 7 am and 9:30 am.
“It is extremely important for residents who get their water from a well to routinely have the water tested. This annual event is a great way to do that,” said Mike Carr, Director of Environmental Programs.
