Snow Ordinance & Emergency Parking Reminder – Raritan Borough

As we prepare for the upcoming storm, please review the Borough’s Snow Ordinance and emergency parking guidelines.

If the Snow Ordinance is activated, on‑street parking will be prohibited so DPW and emergency crews can safely and efficiently clear the roadways.

Designated Off‑Street Parking Locations

• 9 West Somerset Street – New Municipal Building
• 22 First Street – Former Municipal Building
• Thompson Street Municipal Lot
• Mill Street
• Former Washington School site

Additional Parking

The Borough has also secured permission for residents to park at the Raritan Mall parking lot during the impending snowstorm.

Storm Forecast

Snow is expected to begin Sunday, with 12+ inches of accumulation possible.

Important Reminder

Parking is prohibited on any Borough street, road, or highway once snow has fallen and roadways are snow‑covered.
Vehicles left on the street when plowing begins will be ticketed and/or towed if necessary.
