ShopRite of Hillsborough Raises Over $13,000 to Support Feeding Hands

Mayor Catherine Payne joined community members at ShopRite of Hillsborough for a special unveiling celebrating the store’s successful fundraising efforts. Thanks to the generosity of loyal customers and the dedication of ShopRite’s hardworking team, the store raised more than $13,000, enabling a $2,500 donation to Feeding Hands Pantry.

As part of the celebration, ShopRite also revealed a limited‑edition Cheerios box featuring Hillsborough’s own “famous locals,” now available for purchase in the store. 

The initiative highlights the power of community partnership and the impact of local businesses working together to support neighbors in need.

Mayor Payne extended her appreciation to residents, ShopRite customers, and the exceptional employees who consistently go above and beyond to give back. 

Congratulations to Lynette and Jennifer on this well‑deserved recognition, and thank you to ShopRite Hillsborough, Wakefern Food Corp., and Feeding Hands Pantry for their continued commitment to serving the community.
