Raritan Valley Habitat for Humanity Hosts Charity Hockey Game Featuring New Jersey Devils Alumni

Flemington, NJ – March 7, 2025 – Raritan Valley Habitat for Humanity is proud to announce its upcoming Hockey for Healthy Homes charity event, featuring New Jersey Devils alumni Ken Daneyko, Bruce Driver, Andy Greene, Grant Marshall, Colin White, and Travis Zajac. The event will take place on Sunday, April 6, 2025, starting at 1:00 PM at Flemington Ice Arena in Flemington, New Jersey. This exciting charity hockey game will raise funds for the organization's Home Repair and Aging in Place Programs, which support lower-income homeowners in Somerset and Hunterdon Counties by providing affordable repairs and modifications that enable them to live safely and independently in their homes.The Hockey for Healthy Homes event offers several ways for individuals and businesses to get involved and show their support:

  • Join the Game: For $500, individuals can play alongside New Jersey Devils alumni in the charity hockey game. Limited spots are still available.
  • Become a Sponsor: Sponsorships start at $1,000, providing businesses with valuable visibility through logo placements on team jerseys, event banners, promotional materials, program ads, and VIP access.
  • Attend as a Spectator: Tickets for the event are available for $10, with an opportunity to meet the players at a post-game autograph session for $50.
  • Advertise in the Event Program: Local businesses can purchase a ¼-page ad for $250, or a Friends & Family listing for $100.

The event will be held in memory of David L. Reiley, a long-time volunteer and beloved advocate for the community. David passed away suddenly on January 8, 2025, and his legacy of selflessness and dedication continues to inspire all who knew him. A passionate volunteer, Dave spent years giving back through coaching youth ice hockey, serving as president of the Madison Chamber of Commerce, and dedicating countless hours of service to Raritan Valley Habitat for Humanity. His profound commitment to his local community made him a true hero."We are excited to honor David’s memory through this event," said Jessica Abbott, Executive Director at Raritan Valley Habitat for Humanity.
