RVCC Theatre’s 2025-2026 Season Features Music, Magic, Movement, and More for All Ages, Interests

The Theatre at Raritan Valley Community College’s 2025-2026 season will offer performances featuring various genres and styles for all interests and ages—from classical ballet to big band sounds, to fairytale adaptions, to interactive magic shows, to immersive experiences for toddlers and their caregivers—and much more.

“We can’t wait to share our 2025-2026 season with the community. This year’s lineup is full of music, magic, laughter, and unforgettable stories that bring people together. Whether you’re discovering something new, or enjoying a favorite tradition, there’s a seat waiting for you at RVCCArts,” said Jill Telman, Director of Theatre and Conference Services, Raritan Valley Community College.

The upcoming season will feature the following Mainstage shows:

Bill Haley Jr. & The Comets, Friday, October 3, 7 p.m.; $45, $40, $35

Bill Haley Jr. & The Comets bring their high-energy rock ’n’ roll history show to life, performing crowd-pleasing renditions of hits by the legendary Bill Haley and the Comets, along with other favorites from the 1950s and ’60s.

Nutcracker! Magical Christmas Ballet, Friday, December 5, 4 p.m. & 8 p.m.; $70, $65, $60

This holiday spectacular, featuring renowned ballerinas and danseurs from leading opera houses around the world, pairs Tchaikovsky’s timeless score with Broadway-level sets and opulent costumes that were hand-crafted in Europe.

Sleigh Bell Swing (George Gee Swing Orchestra), Saturday, December 20, 7 p.m.; $55, $50, $45

Sleigh Bell Swing delivers big-band versions of favorite holiday classics. George Gee and his Orchestra promise a joyful celebration for the season, capturing the magic of swing’s golden era for today’s audiences.

The Jason Bishop Show, Friday, February 13, 2026, 7 p.m.; $55, $50, $45

Get ready for an evening of mind-blowing wonder with The Jason Bishop Show. From Broadway to international stages, Bishop delivers a high-energy, interactive show featuring cutting-edge illusions, award-winning sleight of hand, and his signature quick wit.

Bachelors of Broadway: Gentlemen of the Theatre, Saturday, February 28, 2026, 7 p.m.;

This exciting concert features a trio of dashing men performing lush symphonic arrangements of beloved songs from Wicked, Hamilton, The Phantom of the Opera, Les Misérables, Dear Evan Hansen, The Greatest Showman, Jersey Boys, and more.

Satisfaction: The International Rolling Stones Tribute Show, Saturday, April 11, 2026, 7 p.m.; $45, $40, $35

Experience the ultimate Rolling Stones tribute with Satisfaction: The International Rolling Stones Tribute Show. This internationally acclaimed production captures the look, sound, and undeniable swagger of The Rolling Stones, delivering the energy and excitement of a live Stones concert.

For younger audiences, RVCCArts' 2025-2026 season will include a special Family Matinee series, which offers performances for children and young teens and their families.

The following Family Matinee productions will be presented:

Hans: My Life in Fairy Tales, Saturday, October 18, 2 p.m.; $25, $20, $15

Hans: My Life in Fairy Tales offers a lively, magical journey into the imagination of the world’s most celebrated storyteller. It blends details about Hans Christian Andersen’s life with timeless tales, such as The Little Mermaid, The Ugly Duckling, and The Emperor’s New Clothes.

Bindlestiff Family Cirkus, Saturday, November 15, 2 p.m.; $25, $20, $15

Bindlestiff Family Cirkus features jugglers, acrobats, contortionists, plate spinners, and sideshow feats like sword swallowing, offering a fun and interactive evening for the entire family.

Billy Goats Gruff and Other Tales, Saturday, March 21, 2026, 2 p.m.; $25, $20, $15

Mermaid Theatre of Nova Scotia’s Billy Goats Gruff and Other Tales reimagines three cherished stories—Goldilocks and the Three Bears, The Three Little Pigs, and The Three Billy Goats Gruff—in an engaging and playful performance designed for audiences ages 3-7.

Janet’s Planet: A Tour Through the Solar System, Saturday, April 25, 2026, 2 p.m.; $25, $20, $15

Kids and adults will discover the wonders of space together, encouraging curiosity and a love of science. With music, captivating visuals, and Janet’s engaging storytelling, this high-energy performance makes STEM topics exciting, inspiring youngsters to reach for the stars.

For school groups and homeschoolers, the 2025-2026 season will provide educational field trip opportunities with the School-Time series. Tickets for School-Time shows cost $8 per person; one free chaperone ticket is provided for every 15 tickets bought.

From History to Hip-Hop (Jonathan Blanchard), Wednesday, February 4, 2026, 10 a.m. (Grades: 3-8; 60 minutes)

From History to Hip-Hop is an engaging, curriculum-aligned arts integration program that takes students on an interactive musical journey through American history, from field songs and spirituals of the 1800s to today’s hip-hop.

Sail Away (Treehouse Shakers), Tuesday, March 10, 2026, 10 a.m. & 11:30 a.m., and Wednesday, March 11, 2026, 10 a.m. & 11:30 a.m. (18-24 months; 45 minutes)

Treehouse Shakers’ Sail Away is a joyful oceanic discovery play designed for toddlers ages 18-24 months and their caregivers. Perfect for early walkers, this immersive experience encourages toddlers to wiggle, move, and explore freely as they embark on a sensory journey through the wonders of the ocean.

Hare & Tortoise (Tutti Frutti Productions), Friday, April 24, 2026, 10 a.m. (Grades: Pre-K to 3; 60 minutes)

Hare & Tortoise is a playful, music-filled adaptation of Aesop’s classic fable, designed for engaging young learners. It’s also ideal for early childhood educators seeking arts experiences that align with social-emotional learning and also spark the imagination.

Bill Blagg’s Magic in Motion, Wednesday, May 6, 2026, 11 a.m. (Grades: 3-6; 55 minutes)

Magic in Motion melds the fascination of magic with the wonders of physical science to create an unbelievable educational experience. In this highly visual, interactive show, audience members will have the opportunity to explore how science creates magic.

Doodle POP (BRUSH Theatre), Thursday, May 21, 2026, 10 a.m. (Grades: Pre-K-2; 55 minutes

A mischievous duo starts to doodle—and creates an entire imaginative world. Audiences are invited on a sea adventure with a tiny turtle in this touching, non-verbal show, following vivid drawings into a beautiful watery world.
