Bridgewater Neighbors Receive a Special Thanksgiving Dinner Woven with Care by the Yarn Club in Bridgewater

Every year at Thanksgiving, the Bridgewater Township Sr. Citizen Center members donate non-perishable food items to create Thanksgiving meal baskets for 6 needy families in Somerset County.

Included in each meal basket is a donated frozen turkey from Wegmans in Bridgewater. Wegmans has supported this donation event for years and we are grateful for their generous partnership.

The Bridgewater Sr. Club Yarn Club also includes in the donation crocheted items such as hats, scarves, and blankets for each family member. They are carefully crafted by the Yarn Club.
