ICYMI - Somerville Police Department at Somerville Senior Citizen Housing for a St. Patty's Celebration

Last Thursday night Officers from the  Community Policing Unit: Officers Spadea, De Biase and Miller along with the Somerville Civic League hosted a Corned Beef and Cabbage dinner for the residents of the Somerville Senior Citizens Housing. 

Over 60 residents attended and enjoyed a great meal with some Irish dancing from the students of Heritage Irish Dance Company as well as Bagpipe music from Somerset County Pipes and Drums member and retired Franklin Township Officer Larry Booker. 

From the website and social media, "We want to thank everyone who helped out and made the night a success, especially Somerville S.A.F.E. for providing the desserts, Downtown Dunkin for the coffee, as well as Wegmans and Shoprite for providing us with gift cards to purchase all the supplies needed for the night."
