BRSD Good News: Dr. Carol Munn 8th Grade Computer Science Teacher's Chapter is Published

"Dr. Carol Munn is an 8th grade Computer Science Teacher at BRMS. She has written a chapter in the recently published book, Current Trends in Cybersecurity and Educational Technology. This book will be distributed to many colleges and universities across the country. The chapter is titled Computational Thinking, 21st Century Skills, and Robotics. This chapter explores a unique framework that conveys engagement and innovation with diverse learning experiences focusing on the implementation of computational thinking and 21st-century skills as essential elements in a robotics education program. The content focuses on the powerful learning opportunity that reinforces 21st-century skills in tech-savvy language familiar to today's students.Dr. Munn has taught for the district for 20 years and we are certainly lucky to have her as part of our district.
