Statement from Governor Murphy on the Confirmation of U.S. District Court Judge Jamel Semper

I am very pleased to see today’s confirmation of Jamel Semper as a U.S. District Court Judge for the District of New Jersey. With nearly two decades of experience as a state and federal prosecutor, Jamel has earned universal respect across the legal community. He will be an outstanding addition to the federal bench, and I congratulate him on his confirmation.
