Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital Somerset Staff Observe Martin Luther King Jr. Day
In observance of Martin Luther King Jr. Day, RWJ Somerset's Black Professionals Network (BPN) displayed a poster board outside of our Dining Room with information about MLK to educate our staff members on his life and issues surrounding racism, bias, and inequalities.
Tomorrow, our BPN will host an MLK Remembrance and Prayer Service by Reverend Donavan J. Pinner for staff members to attend.
In support of RWJ Somerset's Social Impact and Community Investment Initiative, the Community Health Department also hosts a blanket drive and coordinates an MLK community service project.
