Somerset Regional Animal Shelter - Whiskey Is Looking for A Home

Whiskey needs your help finding a home.

This pretty tabby has been with us since June 2022 - more than half her life. She was adopted once but returned because she and the resident cat didn’t get along. Whiskey is a cat lover’s cat. She’s sweet when she wants to be - getting up to greet you when you walk in the room, leaning into pets with her eyes closed and body buzzing with purrs, and giving kisses.

She can also be feisty when she needs her space or doesn’t get her way. Whiskey is a tidy girl, and she loves watching the birds outside her window. She also likes to play - flick a wand toy and it’s game on!

Whiskey would do well in a cat-savvy home where she can be the only pet. Many of us live with similar cats and we adapt and love them for who they are. They bring great love and joy and entertainment to our lives. We love Whiskey and believe she too will enrich the life of her adopter.Won’t you please share Whiskey’s story and help her find that home?

To meet Whiskey, stop by the shelter. We’re open 12-3:30 pm

daily. Whiskey is hanging out in the break room, with her cat tree, a view of the bird feeder, and her big sunflower scratching post.
