Somerset County Commissioner Director Shanel Y. Robinson to Lead NJAC in 2025
January 22, 2025 -(Trenton) The New Jersey Association of Counties (NJAC) is pleased to announce that it will swear-in Somerset County Commissioner Director Shanel Y. Robinson as the Association’s 84th President at 11:00 a.m. on January 24, 2025 in the Senate Chambers of the State House in Trenton. “I look forward to leading this outstanding organization in 2025 as it continues advocating for county governments across the State with a unified, proactive, and solution driven approach to solving critical issues,” stated Somerset County Director Shanel Y. Robinson.
The Honorable Andrew P. Zwicker will administer the oath of office to Director Robinson. NJAC will also swear-in its board of directors and slate of executive officers, which include Warren County Commissioner James R. Kern III as 1st Vice President, Union County Commissioner Alexander Mirabella as 2nd Vice President, Monmouth County Commissioner Dominick DiRocco as Secretary Treasurer, and Hunterdon County Commissioner Shaun C. Van Doren as Immediate Past President. Following the reorganization meeting, all guests are welcome to join NJAC for a luncheon celebration at the historic Masonic Temple.

I look forward to working with them and tackling the many challenging issues facing our great State.” stated Robinson.
