N.J. (February 22, 2024) — Central New Jersey residents spent at least a bit of their Presidents’ Day weekend investing in their health, as Bridgewater Commons’ free Go Red Fashion Show & Family Health Festival, attracted an attentive, full seated audience and bustling crowds above the stage.

Held on Saturday, February 17, 2024, from 12 p.m. to 3 p.m., the festival was presented by Bridgewater Commons and Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital (RWJUH) Somerset, an RWJBarnabas Health facility, in recognition of February’s Heart Month.

“We were thrilled that the center court was packed, and upper-level bannisters were full to see heart disease survivors and others walk the runway and RWJUH Somerset cardiologists explain how to promote heart health,” said Tom Kovacic, Marketing and Business Development Director at Bridgewater Commons. “We believe in supporting our community in every possible way, and want to thank RWJUH Somerset, our tenants, who provided the clothing for the fashion show, and Bridgewater Mayor Moench, who attended with his lovely family and spoke.”

Hosted by stylist Leslie Patrizio, the fashion show featured clothing provided by mall retailers including Bella Bridal, Bloomingdale’s, Chico’s, Janie and Jack, Lululemon, Windsor and Macy’s. Hair and makeup were provided by Sephora and the center’s newly opened Tara Beauty Salon & Spa. Other activities at the festival included children’s fitness sessions, friendship bracelet workshops, heart healthy nutrition, a Teddy Bear Clinic, and face painting.

Located along Interstate 287 at the intersections of Route 22 and Route 202/206, the 1.2 million-square-foot Bridgewater Commons is Somerset County’s largest shopping, dining, and entertainment destination.

The complex also includes The Village at Bridgewater Commons, a unique, open-air shopping district with more than 10 retailers and food and beverage locations including LOFT, Maggiano’s Little Italy, Shake Shack, and Starbucks.
