Arts & Culture: Environmental Education Center to Host Free Art Exhibit ‘The Road Less Traveled’
BASKING RIDGE, NJ – The public is invited to a free art exhibit “The Road Less Traveled” featuring stunning artwork in various mediums. The exhibit, which showcases artwork by artists of the Westfield Art Association, will be on display at the Environmental Education Center (EEC), 190 Lord Stirling Road, Basking Ridge, NJ 07920, from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., Aug. 30 to Sept. 27. The EEC will be closed for Labor Day on Sept. 2.
This creative art exhibit features local artists and showcases beautiful paintings, amazing collages, skillful drawings, eye-catching photography, and other displays of artistic talent created by professional and amateur local artists. There will be a reception for the artists, which is also open to the public on Friday, Sept. 6, from 5 to 7 p.m.

The Mission of the Environmental Education Center
The EEC at Lord Stirling Park offers approximately nine miles of hiking trails, Naturalist-led programs, school field trips, fun festivals, nature-themed exhibits, facility and classroom rentals, a resource library, science and conservation research, and more. The goal of the EEC is to improve environmental literacy in Somerset County and beyond.

The Westfield Art Association is a 501(c)(3) non-profit, volunteer organization, which has provided art education and public exhibitions since its establishment in 1922. The Association encourages its members to pursue their artistic goals and passions.
