From the press release:
Genevieve was named the 2024-2025 Somerset County Agriculture Ambassador!
Genevieve will be competing on October 27th for the State Agriculture Ambassador title. Genevieve has been in the Woolly Ones sheep club for 9 years and absolutely loves caring for her sheep project animals, and advocating for the agriculture industry.
Genevieve has volunteered her time at various 4-H events and is always giving back to the 4-H program. Genevieve is a mentor and enjoys inspiring the younger members in 4-H. Genevieve says “An outstanding 4-H member demonstrates strong leadership skills and takes initiative by going above and beyond in not only their project area, but anywhere they can.
Outstanding 4-H members show their service efforts through community service projects no matter how small. To be an outstanding member, you need to show not only these skills, but skills beyond them.
It is important to put these skills to use and keep in mind the good work they are doing for the community. Lastly, the outstanding member should enforce the core values of 4-H: Head, Hands, Heart, and Health, both in 4-H and outside of 4-H”. Please help us and congratulate Genevieve on this accomplishment!
