MEET THE RW TEAM: Meet Ridewise’s Program Safety Manager, Caty Whalen! Caty has been onboard with RideWise for 2.5 years now, leading the bicycle and pedestrian safety programs for Somerset County’s schools and communities.
As a League Certified Instructor from the League of American Bicyclists, she organizes and implements bike rodeos and Learn to Ride biking programs, as well as hosting Safety Town walking events for kids to learn about pedestrian safety.
Caty also runs the BikeConnect program at RideWise, which refurbishes used bicycles to residents over 18 years old in need of reliable transportation who are commuting to work or searching for it. Outside of work, she enjoys playing pickleball and golf, as well as checking out local shore towns on her bicycle
