Multi-Employer Recruitment Event With Transportation, Manufacturing, and Construction Jobs Available in Hunterdon and Somerset Counties, on March 26
SOMERVILLE, NJ – Dozens of jobs are available at transportation, manufacturing, and construction businesses in Somerset and Hunterdon counties. These employment opportunities will be featured at an in-person Recruitment Event on Wednesday, March 26. The event will be open from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. in the Hunterdon County Chamber of Commerce Center for Business and Entrepreneurship, 119 Main St. Flemington. This program is presented by the New Jersey Department of Labor and Workforce Development and the Greater Raritan Workforce Development Board (GRWDB).
“This recruitment fair is the second in a new series of quarterly sector-focused job fairs planned by the GRWDB and its partners,” said Somerset County Commissioner Doug Singleterry, liaison to the GRWDB. “The first event in January featured a dozen healthcare businesses from both counties and attracted 119 job seekers. Of those, at least 15 were offered positions and three have started in their new jobs.”
Preregistration
At the job fair, employers will be available for informational discussions and more. Those who preregister may be considered for onsite interviews with some participating employers. Walk-ins are welcome but on-site interviews may not be possible. The employers scheduled to be in attendance are:

- Thermo Fisher Scientific in Bridgewater
- Trident Maritime Systems in High Bridge
Position titles include Production and Quality Control, Packaging, Shipping and Receiving, General Laborer, CNC Machinist - 1st or 2nd shift, Quality Control Inspector, Maintenance, Mechanic/Technician, Construction Worker, Part-time Warehouse and Seasonal Workers, Plumbing Technicians, HVAC Technicians, Water Treatment Technicians, Machine Operator, CDL Class A Truck Driver, CDL Class A Lowboy Equipment Mover and many more.
