ICYMI - Raritan Borough Police Officers Taking Time Out to Help Furry Neighbors in Our Town

This March, the Raritan Borough Police Department showed that their dedication goes beyond keeping the community safe—they’re also devoted to ensuring that no creature is left behind.

This month, two small puppies were found wandering the streets of Raritan, looking lost and frightened. Raritan Officers were on the scene and immediately took the pups into their care, ensuring their safety and comfort. Despite being young and vulnerable, the puppies seemed to be in good health but needed a warm and safe place to stay.

Knowing how important it was to reunite the pups with their family, the Raritan Borough Police didn’t just leave the situation at picking them up. The team works diligently to locate their owners. They posted photos and descriptions on social media platforms, spoke to residents, and reached out to animal shelters, hoping to find any leads.
