Centenary University Awards Degrees to Somerset County Residents

HACKETTSTOWN, N.J., June 16, 2025—Centenary University awarded degrees to 431 graduates at its 150th commencement, which was held as two separate in-person ceremonies presided over by President Dale Caldwell, Ed.D., on the University’s Hackettstown campus. One ceremony recognized graduates who earned associate and undergraduate degrees, while a second event showcased academic accomplishments of master’s and doctoral graduates.

Graduating from Somerset County were:

Bridgewater—Debra Lynn Grigoletti, Doctor of Education: Educational Leadership; Courtney L. Lukeman, Master of Arts in Special Education With TOSD and LDTC

Bound Brook—Devon Leigh Knauff, Bachelor of Social Work

Franklin Park—Troy Micheal Sumpter, Bachelor of Arts in Writing

Hillsborough—Kelly M. Stier, Bachelor of Arts in Education: Liberal Arts, cum laude

Martinsville—Justin Andrew Leon, Bachelor of Science in Animal Health: Pre-Veterinary, cum laude

North Plainfield—Ria Christina Brumbaugh, Bachelor of Arts in Education: Liberal Arts, magna cum laude

Somerville—Kelly Zona, Bachelor of Arts in Education: Liberal Arts, summa cum laude
