Raritan residents looking to add a little flavor to their weekend will have a fun new option this spring. On Sunday, May 5, the Raritan Public Library is inviting adults from across the community to gather for a lively Adult Crafternoon: Salsa Tasting—a social, low‑key event designed to bring neighbors together over good food and good company.
The afternoon will feature a spread of salsas ranging from crisp and refreshing to bold and fiery. Attendees can sample each one, compare flavors, and cast their votes for their favorites. Whether you’re the type who prefers a mild, garden‑fresh dip or you’re always chasing that perfect spicy kick, the tasting table promises something for every palate.
Library staff are planning the event to be both fun and welcoming—an easy way for adults to unwind, meet new people, and enjoy a shared experience. It’s part of the library’s ongoing effort to offer creative, community‑building programs that go beyond books.
Space is limited, and advance registration is encouraged to ensure enough samples for everyone.
