Some of the most exciting areas of the 4-H Fair are the animal tents, where families can enjoy hands-on experiences with all kinds of furry, feathered, and scaly friends. You’ll have the chance to meet small animals like rabbits and guinea pigs, a variety of poultry, reptiles and amphibians, and different breeds of dogs. The Fair also features goats, dairy and beef cows, sheep, and even soft, friendly alpacas that love attention.

Throughout the Fair, visitors can enjoy animal shows and demonstrations on grooming, fitting, and agility. Be sure to check out the Fair schedule for interactive experiences such as story time in the poultry tent, pipe cleaner bunnies in the small animal tent, and even the chance to listen to a heartbeat in the goat tent. And don’t forget the popular turtle races in the herpetology tent, and pool noodle ponies in the horse tent.

Come spend time in the animal tents and celebrate the bond between 4-H youth and the animals they care for.
