Travis Manion Foundation to Host 9/11 Heroes Run on Saturday, September 13 (Raritan, NJ)
Travis Manion Foundation (TMF), one of the nation’s leading veteran service organizations, will host the Raritan 9/11 Heroes Run on Saturday, September 13 as part of the 2025 9/11 Heroes Run series. Presented nationally by USAA, the annual race series unites communities across the country to honor the lives lost on September 11, 2001, and in the conflicts that followed—while paying tribute to the veterans, military service members, and first responders who continue to serve our nation and neighborhoods today.
Now in its 18th year, the 9/11 Heroes Run series is taking place in more than 100 locations worldwide. Participants of all ages—runners, walkers, and ruckers—come together to honor the fallen and ensure their legacies of courage, character, and leadership live on. More than just a race, each event serves as a powerful reminder of our shared responsibility to never forget and to inspire the next generation through service and remembrance.

About Travis Manion Foundation
Travis Manion Foundation (TMF) unites communities to strengthen America's national character by empowering veterans and families of fallen heroes to develop and lead future generations. In 2007, 1stLt Travis Manion, USMC, was killed in Iraq while saving his wounded teammates. Today, Travis' legacy lives on in the words he spoke before leaving for his final deployment, "If Not Me, Then Who..." Guided by this mantra, veterans continue their service, develop strong relationships with their communities, and thrive in their post-military lives by serving as character role models to youth. As a result, communities prosper and the character of our nation’s heroes lives on in the next generation.
