Nonprofits that Serve Somerset County Residents Can Score Free Tickets to Somerset Patriots Games in 2026

(For Immediate Release – Somerset County, NJ) Nonprofits and community organizations that serve Somerset County residents can win free tickets and exclusive box seats at TD Bank Ballpark to watch the Somerset Patriots play. Ticket winners will experience panoramic views and enjoy reserved seats inside a climate-controlled, private suite.

The deadline for nonprofits and organizations to enter the annual Somerset County Board of County Commissioners Ballpark Ticket Drawing is 4 p.m. on Friday, February 272026. Winners will be announced in March.

“These exclusive tickets are a gracious thank you to the nonprofits that tirelessly serve our communities in Somerset County,” said Commissioner Director Shanel Y. Robinson. “Every day, residents are using these essential services and programs to overcome challenges and prevail through hardships. The resources they provide are truly a lifeline for residents in need. We also extend our deepest gratitude to the Somerset Patriots for actively participating in this annual prize drawing.”

On Friday, April 3, 2026, at 6:35 p.m., the Somerset Patriots, which are the Double-A Affiliate of the New York Yankees, will celebrate opening day when they take the field against the Portland Sea Dogs.

In July and August, the Somerset Patriots will play four home games as the Somerset Semiquincentennials, while sporting new uniforms, in honor of America’s 250th anniversary. The games will be played throughout Independence Day Weekend - Friday, July 3, through Sunday, July 5, 2026, and on Saturday, August 15, 2026, for Revolutionary Revelry Night.

How to Enter

Applicants who meet one of the following criteria are eligible to enter the drawing:

  • Nonprofit and community organizations with at least 50 percent of its clients or members residing in Somerset County.
  • Out-of-county facilities that provide significant community service or volunteerism for the residents of Somerset County.
  • Organizations must comply with all applicable rules, regulations, and ordinances when using the Commissioners’ community box. Groups are responsible for purchasing any food or beverages. The community box is accessible to people with disabilities.

Entry forms must be received or postmarked by 4 p.m. on Friday, February 27, 2026, and should include:

  • The organization’s name and address.
  • The organization’s mission or purpose.
  • A contact person’s name and phone number.
  • Information about the organization’s volunteer work and/or community service.
