Raritan Public Library Spotlights Jim Foohey for His Dedicated Service

The Raritan Public Library is proud to shine a spotlight on Jim, who is now in his seventh year serving on the Library Board and currently leads as President of the Friends of the Library.

Jim plays an essential role in supporting the library’s programs and community outreach. He organizes the popular Friends of the Library Book Sale and coordinates the 7th Annual Town‑Wide Yard Sale, which is now open for registration. His leadership and behind‑the‑scenes work help make these beloved community events possible.

Outside of his volunteer commitments, Jim is an avid baseball fan and enjoys writing. The book he’s holding is an anthology of memoirs featuring more than 40 authors, including Jim himself. This collection will soon be available for borrowing at the library.

The Raritan Public Library extends a heartfelt thank‑you to Jim for his dedication, enthusiasm, and the many ways he strengthens our community.
