On March 11, 2026, at 10:00 p.m., Henri Guaman-Ortiz, 52, of Bound Brook, was arrested for Driving While Intoxicated following a traffic stop on Third Street. Guaman-Ortiz was later released pending a court appearance.
On March 16, 2026, at 1:16 a.m., James Gunter, 40, with no known address, was arrested following a trespassing investigation at a local church. Gunter had warrants for his arrest issued by the Somerset County Prosecutor’s Office and the Middlesex County Prosecutor’s Office. Gunter was taken to the Somerset County Jail.
On March 25, 2026, Jason Howell, 36, of Valdosta, Georgia, was charged with eluding following a motor vehicle pursuit that concluded on Route 78 in Hunterdon County. At the conclusion of the pursuit, Howell was arrested with assistance from the New Jersey State Police and Clinton Township Police Department. His court appearance in Somerset County is pending.
On March 27, 2026 at 12:36 p.m., Aldousian Pacunayen, 29 of Raritan, was arrested following a pedestrian stop on First Ave. Pacunayen had a warrant for his arrest issued by the Somerset County Prosecutor’s Office for possessing a stolen motor vehicle. Pacunayen was transported to the Somerset County Jail.
On March 28, 2026 at 9:16 p.m., Kara Barnes, 43, of Branchburg, was arrested for driving while intoxicated following a disorderly person investigation at the Quick Chek on the Somerville Circle. Barnes was later released pending a court appearance.
On April 2, 2026 at 7:03 a.m., a 53 year old Raritan man was arrested for a domestic violence offense at a residence. The male was transported to the Somerset County Jail.
On April 2, 2026 at 12:15 p.m., Damian Little, 42, of Raritan, was arrested following a pedestrian stop on John Street. Little had a warrant for his arrest issued out of North Plainfield. Little was also charged with resisting arrest. After processing, Little was taken into custody by the North Plainfield Police Department.
On April 3, 2026 at 10:15 p.m., 48 year old Hillsborough man was arrested following a wellness check at the Raritan Mall Car Wash. The male had a warrant for his arrest issued out of Bound Brook. A search incident to arrest revealed the male possessed a small quantity of methamphetamine and drug paraphernalia. The male was released pending a court appearance.
On April 4, 2026, at 3:15 a.m., Kevin McDermon, 22, of Dunellen, was arrested and charged with hindering apprehension following a traffic stop on the Somerville Circle. McDermon was released pending court appearance.
On April 6, 2026 at 5:06 p.m., Shaquille Watson, 26, of Old Bridge, was arrested following a traffic stop on West Somerset Street. Warrant had a warrant for his arrest out of Jersey City. He was released on his own recognizance.
On April 6, 2026, Mario Dagostino, 43 of Hillsborough, was charged with shoplifting $53.00 worth of goods from the Quick Chek on the Somerville Circle. The charges stemmed from a theft report employees made on March 2, 2026. A court appearance is pending.
On April 8, 2026 at 1:46 a.m., a 27 year old Raritan man and a 39 year old Jersey City man were arrested following a traffic stop on Route 202. The 27 year old was charged with possession of prescription medication without a prescription, and the 39 year old was charged with possession of methamphetamine, possession of drug paraphernalia and hindering apprehension. Both men were released pending a court appearance.
On April 14, 2026 at 1:00 p.m., Luis Hernandez-Aguilera, 45, of Trenton, was arrested following a traffic stop on Route 206. Aguilera was charged with falsifying records after an officer determined he had a fraudulent temporary license plate affixed to his vehicle. Aguilera was also charged with driving an unregistered vehicle and having no insurance. Aguilera was released pending a court appearance.
On April 15, 2026, a 47 year old Raritan man was arrested and charged with violating the terms of a domestic violence restraining order. The male was transported to the Somerset County Jail.
On April 16, 2026, Kimberlin Castillo-Yanes, 21, of Newark, was charged with forgery and theft by deception. An investigation was opened on March 3, 2026 after a local business reported a person had made fraudulent checks with the business information and cashed them at various banks in Middlesex County. A total loss of $5,300.33 was reported by the business owner. A court appearance is pending.
On April 18, 2026 at 1:15 p.m., Jamaal Hamilton, 37 of Piscataway, was arrested following a traffic stop on Route 206. Hamilton was charged with possession of a fraudulent temporary registration on his vehicle. He was released pending a court appearance.
On April 19, 2026 at 10:34 a.m., Jesse Panyko, 42, with no known address, was arrested following a pedestrian stop on Gaston Avenue. Panyko had a warrant for his arrest issued by the Somerset County Prosecutor’s Office. Panyko was taken to the Somerset County Jail
