The Somerset County Board of Agriculture, in partnership with The Burn Center at Cooperman Barnabas Medical Center, is hosting a free community program designed to help residents stay safe at home and on the farm.

Burn Injury Prevention & Response for Farm & Home

This session will cover common burn hazards, practical prevention strategies, first‑aid guidance, and how to access specialized burn care when needed. It’s an important opportunity for anyone working with heat, equipment, or chemicals—whether on a farm or in a household setting.
