Nirvana Recovery Center Opens in Bound Brook

Somerset County Commissioner Director Shanel Y. Robinson joined community leaders on Thursday, January 29, 2026, to celebrate the grand opening and ribbon-cutting of the Nirvana Recovery Center in Bound Brook.

During the event, Jane De Fabio, Community Partnerships Coordinator, highlighted the center’s mission, noting that the team is “invested in quality, patient‑centered care, approaching the whole individual and creating a safe, comfortable space where people can truly come together to heal.” She added that the center will be an important resource for residents who are struggling and in need of support.

Nirvana Recovery Center provides trauma‑informed, patient‑centered services designed to address the whole person. Offerings include detox placement, partial care, and intensive and outpatient programs. By integrating medical treatment, psychotherapy, and wellness practices, the center supports the physical, emotional, and spiritual aspects of recovery for individuals facing substance use challenges, mental health concerns, PTSD, or trauma.

Guests at the opening were introduced to the center’s range of therapeutic modalities, including somatic work, experiential therapy, and psychiatric care.
