Bridgewater Commons, in partnership with the Center for Cultural & Creative Exchange (CCCE), invites the community to celebrate the Lunar New Year with two days of cultural performances, hands‑on activities, and festive traditions honoring the Year of the Fire Horse.
Lunar New Year 2026 marks the arrival of the Fire Horse, a zodiac sign associated with bold energy, vitality, and forward momentum. The combination of the Horse’s spirited nature and the Fire element’s passion symbolizes a year of fresh starts, creativity, and dynamic growth—an inspiring backdrop for this year’s celebration.
Live Performance – Saturday, Feb 21, 3–4 PM (Center Court)
Experience traditional Asian performances, including a vibrant dragon dance accompanied by drums, cymbals, and gongs—movements and music believed to bring good luck and fortune as the new year begins.
Arts & Crafts – Feb 21 & Feb 22, 12–6 PM
Event Space, Main Level next to Vans
Families are invited to enjoy hands‑on Chinese arts and crafts workshops throughout the weekend.
Special Traditions
Lucky attendees may receive red envelopes filled with treats and special offers, a cherished Lunar New Year custom symbolizing good wishes and prosperity.
Founded in 2019, CCCE is a New Jersey‑based nonprofit dedicated to preserving Chinese culture and heritage while fostering unity, harmony, and respect across all communities. Their annual programming includes celebrations such as the Dragon Boat Festival, Mid‑Autumn Festival, and Lunar New Year.
