The New Jersey League of Municipalities has announced the annual Louis Bay II Future Municipal Leaders Scholarship Competition

The New Jersey League of Municipalities has announced the annual Louis Bay II Future Municipal Leaders Scholarship Competition for high school juniors and seniors planning to continue their education.

Participants are invited to apply and submit an essay with the theme "What I Like About My Hometown." One essay will be selected and the writer will represent the township as a state semi-finalist. Their essay and application will then be reviewed by the league's Scholarship Committee who will select three winners to receive $1,000.

Montgomery resident Aryahi Padmavati Narvekar was last year's first place winner!

Applications & essays must be sent to tnovak@montgomerynj.gov by 4 p.m. on March 12.
