The North Plainfield Police Department is investigating two (2) separate shoplifting incidents involving the same individual. The pictured male was observed on surveillance video shoplifting at the Wawa on February 11, 2024, at approximately 3:40 PM., during which he took over $200.00, in Red Bull energy drinks and placed them in a red bag before leaving the store without paying. On February 14, 2024, at approximately 11:10 AM., he was observed in CVS where he placed almost $800.00, worth of products in a red bag and fled the store on a bicycle.Anyone with information on the suspect is asked to contact DetSgt Michael vonSpreckelsen at 908-769-2973 or mvonspreckelsen@northplainfieldnj.gov.
