Towed Vehicles from the flood:The North Plainfield Police Department utilizes the following four (4) tow companies:

If your vehicle was on a public roadway, it was most likely towed by NPPD. 

Vehicles that were towed from private property and or businesses may have been towed by outside companies, and without the knowledge of the NPPD, 

If your vehicle was parked at private business or on private property, you have to contact the business/property owner to determine what company they utilized to tow vehicles.Private businesses and property owners utilize their own tow companies that are not affiliated with the NPPD. 

Ii you are looking for your vehicle that was parked on a public roadway please contact the four listed companies that are contracted with the NPPD.

If your vehicle was parked on private property, you have to contact the property owner not the NPPD.If it is later determined that any vehicles were illegally towed, or if any price gouging occurs we will investigate and charge those responsible. NPPD has a set fee for the four companies that we contract with.
