Colonial Park Gardens annual Rose Day Festival celebrates the first signs of summer.. Roses in bloom. In the heart of the park, the Rudolf W. van der Goot Rose Garden displays thousands of roses many varieties, with both modern and historic significance. Visitors are encouraged to celebrate and revel in the day by strolling through the gardens, enjoining music and love entertainment, meeting local artisans and indulging in some great food. Back by popular demand rose plants will also be for sale.
