Raritan Valley Community College in Branchburg will offer a new Nail Technology/Manicurist program, September 4-January 23. Classes will be held Mondays, Tuesdays, and Wednesdays, from 9:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m., and Thursdays, from 9:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.
The program will be housed in Protégé, the working salon and spa at the College’s state-of-the-art Workforce Training Center.
The 300-hour licensing program will offer students instruction all areas of Nail Technology and hair removal. Subject areas will include manicuring; pedicuring; applying nail art, artificial enhancements, acrylics, dip powder, and gel polish; eyebrow shaping; facial waxing; and large-area waxing.
RVCC’s Beauty programs offer industry partnerships, a unique curriculum, and instructors and staff with a passion for the beauty industry. The demand for qualified Nail Technicians is growing, and local job placement assistance and a payment plan are available for students.
