National Centenarian’s Day
Initially, the day urged people to listen to the stories centenarians had to tell about their rich history and infinite wisdom because listening to their life stories offered a wealth of information and proved that with age comes wisdom. As the celebration spread, groups formed to honor centenarians in other ways too.
