Raritan Public Library - Summer Reading Contest Has a Basketful of Prizes

Raritan Public Library is showcasing quite many prizes this summer. It is open to all ages and participants can have a chance to win any one of these baskets. Sign-up is in person only, so come to the library to get started on your summer adventure.

Love to cook and want to share with others? Our "Recipe Swap" adult program is perfect for you then! On Thursday, June 27th, at 5:30pm the group will meet to share their dishes The theme this month is fruit. Participants will choose a recipe, prepare it at home, and come share the dish at the group's gathering. Come sample each other's recipes, discuss cooking techniques, and share stories with each other. Scream for ice-cream this Friday, June 28th, 11am at our children's program "Kids Sponge Paint Ice Cream Cone Craft!" Kids will create their own sponge paint ice cream cone while snacking on a sweet dessert! Ice pops will be provided!

Adventures at the library this summer start with The Raptor Trust returning to our library on Saturday, July 13th, starting at 11am for a presentation on Kestrels! They will show a presentation about these raptors, provide items patrons can interact with, and have a live Kestrel on site. This is sure to be an exciting and educational program for all ages!
