Students, Job Seekers Can Discover Exciting Career Opportunities at Two Upcoming Greater Raritan Workforce Events
(For Immediate Release – Somerset County, NJ): The Greater Raritan Workforce Development Board (GRWDB) will be hosting two networking events in April and May 2026 for students and job seekers.
Students can learn how apprenticeships can jumpstart their careers through the Pathways to the Future event, which will be held on Thursday, April 30, 2026, from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. at the Conference Center at Raritan Valley Community College, located at 118 Lamington Road, Branchburg, NJ.
“Apprenticeships are an avenue that students and job seekers can use to build successful career pathways,” said GRWDB Director Paul Grzella. “This event, which is one of hundreds happening around the country for National Apprenticeship Week, aims to connect employers and trainers with job seekers.”
The free event is open to middle school, high school, and college-age youth, recent graduates, and other job seekers. Attendees are encouraged to register by visiting https://bit.ly/4rZWuGV; walk-ins also welcome.
Businesses, union organizations, school programs, service providers, governmental agencies, and other entities can register at https://bit.ly/4tWnNTH, by emailing Nekisha Brown at nbrown@somersetcountynj.gov, or by calling (908) 203-6047. Employer registration will close on Monday, April 27, 2026.
Job seekers can discover new employment opportunities at the 2026 Greater Raritan Job Fair, which will take place on Tuesday, May 19, 2026, at the Hindu Temple and Cultural Society on Route 202-206, Bridgewater, NJ.
The fifth annual event, which is hosted by the GRWDB and the New Jersey Department of Labor & Workforce Development, is designed to connect job seekers with employers from Somerset County, Hunterdon County, and other local Counties.
