Feeling Creative -Enter the Third Annual “PEEPS® in the Village” Competition and Display at Peddler’s Village

Peddler’s Village, a countryside shopping, dining, lodging, and family entertainment destination in the heart of historic Bucks County, PA, is preparing for a robust lineup of 2022 events that will kick off in March with a relatively new but incredibly popular annual competition and display: PEEPS® in the Village. Now in its third year, this colorful spring-themed event has in the past included nearly one hundred marshmallow masterpieces submitted by individuals and organizations, all of whom are eligible for cash prizes. Peddler’s Village has issued a call to the public for entries; online registration is open through March 2 at PeddlersVillage.com. Participation in the contest is free, as is admission to the display.

PEEPS® in the Village will be on view to the public from Friday, March 11 through Sunday, April 24, 2022. Using the Peddler’s Village mobile app, attendees are invited to vote on their favorite creations in three categories: diorama, sculpture, and 2D wall art. Voting will take place March 11 through April 1, with winners announced on April 5. Cash prizes will be awarded to first, second, third, fourth, and fifth place in each category, as well as to two honorable mentions.

“Since our first PEEPS® show in 2019, the event has become enormously popular,” said Joe Albert, director of festivals and events at Peddler’s Village. “Last year, we had more than a hundred entries and welcomed 80,000 visitors who came to see the six-week show. We are always struck by the incredible creativity on display for this event, which is a terrific spring complement to our long-established scarecrow display in the fall and our gingerbread display during the holidays. We’re looking forward to seeing what PEEPS® themes emerge this year!”
