Somerville Borough Holiday Hours - Municipal Services

Please note the revised schedule for municipal services during the holiday season.

Wednesday, December 24

• Borough Hall will be open on Christmas Eve, from 8:30 am to 4:30 pm.
• Garbage collection will operate as usual.

Thursday, December 25

• Borough Hall offices will be closed on Christmas Day.
• Garbage collection is suspended and will resume with extra pickup on Friday.
• Parking is free in all municipal lots and streets on Christmas Day.

Friday, December 26

• Borough Hall offices will be closed the day after Christmas.
• Garbage collection will operate as usual.

Thursday, January 1

• Borough Hall offices will be closed on New Year’s Day.
• Garbage collection is suspended and will resume on Friday.
• The Borough Council reorganization meeting will be held at 12 pm, at the Somerville Middle School.
• Parking is free in all municipal lots and streets on New Year’s Day.

Free parking

• Saturday: Parking is free on Saturdays from Thanksgiving Day through New Year’s Day, in all municipal lots (except #8).
• Sunday: Parking is always free in all municipal lots and streets on Sundays.
• Christmas Day: Parking is free in all municipal lots and streets on Christmas Day.
• New Year’s Day: Parking is free in all municipal lots and streets on New Year’s Day.
