The Bound Brook Police Department brought the community together this past Saturday by hosting its annual Festival of Giving Christmas Drive, an event focused on supporting local families during the holiday season.
The drive was made possible through the combined efforts of volunteers, partner organizations, and community supporters who contributed their time, resources, and energy to the initiative. Organizers expressed appreciation for everyone involved, noting that the event reflected a strong spirit of collaboration and shared responsibility.
A special acknowledgment was extended to the Bound Brook School District for opening its facilities and providing a welcoming space for the event. The partnership allowed the police department to connect directly with residents in a setting that encouraged community engagement and support.
As a result of the collective effort, hundreds of children and families received toys, food, and clothing, helping to ease holiday stress and bring moments of joy during the season. The event underscored the department’s ongoing commitment to community-centered policing and service beyond traditional public safety roles.
The Festival of Giving continues to highlight the impact of generosity, cooperation, and goodwill across Bound Brook, reinforcing the importance of neighbors supporting neighbors—especially during the holidays.
