About the Borough of Bound Brook
Bound Brook is historic borough of approximately 1.6 square miles and 10,600 residents. First settled in the late 1600s, Bound Brook is located along the Raritan River, in Somerset County. It sits between two brooks – the Middlebrook and the Green Brook (also referred to as the Bound Brook). The Old Presbyterian Graveyard cemetery contains gravestones dating back to 1744, with soldiers from the Revolutionary, Civil and other wars buried there. Bound Brook annually participates in Living History weekend, which spotlights the role the area played in the Revolutionary War.
