Bound Brook Police Join Students for Friendship Day and “Race a Cop” Fun at BBHS

Image

The Bound Brook Police Department spent the day building connections and sharing plenty of laughs with students at Bound Brook High School during this year’s Friendship Day celebration. Officers joined students for activities throughout the event, followed by a lively—and surprisingly competitive—round of Race a Cop.

The afternoon was filled with teamwork, encouragement, and positive interactions that highlight what community policing is truly about: showing up, engaging with young people, and creating moments that matter.

A big thank‑you goes out to the students, staff, and everyone who helped make the day such a success. And as for the officers who were challenged to a race… let’s just say we won’t mention who crossed the finish line first, but the students definitely earned their bragging rights.

Events like these strengthen relationships and create memories that last well beyond the school day.
