Bound Brook Officers Recognized by MADD for Their Commitment to Preventing Impaired Driving

The Bound Brook Police Department is proud to congratulate Officers Gatti, Sabal, Eckerson, and Lowder for receiving recognition from Mothers Against Drunk Driving (MADD) in honor of their outstanding efforts to combat impaired driving and keep our roadways safe.

Every impaired driver removed from the road represents far more than a motor vehicle stop — it’s a crash prevented, an injury avoided, and a life protected. Nationally, impaired driving remains a serious threat, with approximately 32 people losing their lives each day in alcohol‑related crashes, accounting for nearly 30% of all traffic fatalities.

Through their vigilance, professionalism, and unwavering dedication to public safety, these officers work tirelessly to protect the residents, visitors, and families of Bound Brook. Their efforts make a meaningful difference in creating safer streets for everyone who lives, works, and travels in our community.
