In honor of #WomensHistoryMonth, Hunterdon County Prosecutor Renée M. Robeson recognizes the women of the Hunterdon County Prosecutor’s Office. The women of the HCPO are an essential part of Hunterdon County law enforcement. Thank you for all that you do!Women’s History Month began as a week-long celebration organized by the Sonoma County, California Commission on the Status of Women in 1978, and was later declared a national month-long event by the U.S. Congress in 1987.Women's History Month acknowledges the important role women have played throughout history and serves as a platform to raise awareness of issues that women continue to face today. It provides an opportunity to celebrate the achievements of trailblazing women, highlight their work, and inspire future generations.
